# My Thoughts

### Example
- **In an operating system:**
“Enhanced Operating System” Or “Improved Operating System”?
Enhancements: _Larger_ virtual memory reserve, _optimized_ backup procedures, _stronger_ encryption.
Improvements: _Added_ accessories, _added_ firewall feature, _removed_ unpopular resident software, more efficient backup system _replaces_ old version.
- **In the bicycle:**
Enhancements: Colorful paint and softer seat.
Improvements: Electric lights and motor.
Therefore, the electric bicycle is an improvement over the ordinary bicycle, not an enhancement.
